The new blade lifter, equipped with 13 axle lines and a chassis up to 3.60 metres wide from Goldhofer and a lifting unit from Greiner, did an impressive job in northern Germany on its maiden assignment.
In spite of sometimes difficult weather conditions, it successfully transported 84.5 metre-long wind turbine blades weighing 30 tonnes to the wind farm.
