Trans A.D.M. S.p.r.l.

As the first company of the "Adams Group", Trans ADM was founded in 1988. As Peter Adams was already running a construction company at that time, the first vehicles in the fleet were tippers with an integrated coil well. After several years, the fleet was extended by the first low-bed trailer, mainly for the transport of the own construction equipment.

In 1990,the first Cometto low-bed combination (2+3) was acquired. From that moment on, it was possible to transport construction machines weighing up to 70 tons. Gradually, the company specialized on special and heavy transports. Transports of long and wide loads quickly became part of the daily business. The fleet was quickly extended by a 12-axle modular trailer from Scheuerle, laying the foundation for international heavy transports.

In 1997, Trans ADM moved to the new offices and worksite. With the now available overhead cranes, the recombination works for the modular trailers can be done more efficiently. The location of the site in the industrial zone "Kaiserbaracke", situated on the E42 motorway close to the tripoint of Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg, allows for the flexibility that is absolutely necessary in the transportation business.

With the opening of the new buildings, an ambitious investment programme was started, including Goldhofer pendular axles and special equipment like a self-propelled modular trailer, splittable axles, etc., allowing the transportation division of the Adams Group to carry out more and more spectacular transports accross Europe.
